40 Paintings

I'm starting my first series of paintings after graduating from college. The series is for a show coming up in about 4 months. I'll have to do about 10 paintings per month. I'm excited for this opportunity as it will be a huge break for me in starting a new career as a professional artist. The theme I'm working on for the paintings is about how man and nature interact with each other. I'm interested in how man takes things from nature, manipulates them for his benefit and when they are used up or he is tired of them he discards them. Then it is up to nature to reclaim these things. I'll be posting my thoughts about this theme and pictures as my paintings develop.
